USITT recently announced the newest Fellows of the Institute, and Thern Stage is excited to share that Business Development Director, Paul Brunner, has been selected!
The honorary position of Fellow is achieved after many years of exceptional service to USITT and the entertainment industry. Paul was selected along with the other Fellows due to his long-term dedication and leadership.
Paul has participated in USITT leadership for quite a while, including holding a seat on the Board of Directors. He is currently in his second term as USITT Secretary. His resume with the Institute includes being a representative on ESTA’s ETCP Council, Technical Production Commissioner, Vice-Commissioner for Programming, Exhibit Coordinator for the USA 2015 Prague Quadrennial exhibits, and involvement in Midwest Regional Section activities as a member of the board and project organizer.
He is nationally recognized as a leader in environmental initiatives for theatre production, having presented at the USITT National Conference nearly two dozen times, and received USITT’s 2013 Herbert D. Greggs Merit Award for one of several articles he wrote.
Before working with Thern Stage, Paul worked in the theater industry as a technical director and manager in a variety of academic and professional theatres and venues.
Thern Stage has the highest standards for not only the equipment they manufacture but the staff that produces and sells it. Paul Brunner is an exceptional example of this standard. With his direct and continuous involvement in the theatrical world and USITT, Thern Stage customers will know that they are in good hands. Way to go, Paul!
