Joy Dahl has worked at Thern in the accounts receivable department for the last five years. She has enjoyed the entirety of her time at Thern and is looking forward to the years to come. What she enjoys most about Thern is the ability to grow in her position while helping the organization to flourish. Family is important to Joy, which is one reason that Thern stood out as unique to her. Working at a family-based organization has shown her that employees can be valued and respected. Working together as a team to service customers, while being heard as an individual within the organization is what makes Thern thrive.
When Joy isn’t in the office she enjoys spending time outside. Although she has a tricky history of finding herself in poison ivy, she finds the reward greater than the risk. Joy can be found hiking, playing sports, or doing any outside activities with her two boys and four grandchildren.
While the last few months have been challenging to navigate, Joy is proud of how the company worked together to get through the complexities brought on by the Coronavirus, solidifying her thoughts on how important teamwork is.
Joy, we are thankful for you and all the hard work you have put it every day these past 5 years. We are looking forward to the many more years to come.
