Vertical Lead Block

For Ropes Between 1/4″ and 1/2″ in Diameter

The Redline Series is used to change the direction of the rope. This allows the winch to be mounted in a convenient location while the Redline Lead Block controls the path of the rope to avoid obstacles, reduce hazard, and improve rope wear.

Ropes & Rigging FAQs

How do you calculate the fleet angle of wire rope?

Fleet angle is the angle between the wire rope and an imaginary line extending perpendicular to the drum. The fleet angle varies with the distance between the lead sheave and the drum. Using the correct fleet angle of wire rope will ensure your winch is operating at its full capacity and not causing undue wear.
