Crane Windshield Replacement Winches | Custom Built for P&H Mining Cranes

The equipment is needed for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the 1,000 pound crane windows. Thern’s 2,000-pound capacity 4WP2T8 series winch was perfect for the job. The winch’s compact design, reliable operation, and sufficient load capacity made it an ideal choice for the P&H units. The 4WP2T8 affords maintenance workers the level of control they require to quickly and efficiently replace damaged windshields. During replacement, the winches hoist the window panels carefully in tandem, and once the windows are properly positioned, they are installed. The winches, relatively lightweight at around 100 lbs each, are easily moved, conveniently stored on board, and can be set up on short notice for unplanned repairs, reducing downtime and increasing operational efficiency.
