I have learned so much about the entire process of building Thern winches and cranes. There is always something new to learn. Thern is a place where there is always work to be done and people are so grateful for your help. It makes me feel great to assist in the process and creation of such quality products. Working at Thern has definitely been the right choice for me!

I’m very happy to be a part of the Thern team. I didn’t quite know what exactly my role would entail on my first day, and I certainly didn’t expect that I’d be meeting regularly with the company’s top executives. But from day one my ideas and perspectives were solicited and valued, and thanks to the support of my colleagues and my manager, I was able to quickly develop my expertise and make positive contributions. The culture at Thern is outstanding…the people are great…my manager has integrity and really cares about me and everyone else in the group. I feel like my work adds value to the organization, and that the organization values my work…which are not things I can say about every company I have been with.

As an intern, I can’t say there is one negative about Thern. I’m in the marketing department with one semester left of school. The training process was super productive, and I was able to get a grip very quickly. I am very thankful for all the people who trained me in, as they made everything go smoothly. This internship has taught me so much about marketing, the business world, and has made me more aware of how life will be after school. That transition is always difficult, but Thern has made me more comfortable and prepared me for what is to come. This is such a hands-on position, and I am able to learn a wide variety of different things from different departments. The projects I am assigned to are all relevant and give me more experience.

The culture of this company is one that I have never seen before. It’s not just a job, you become so close with the people you work with, and it makes coming to work that much better. Even if you don’t work closely someone, just walking through the hallways is comforting because everyone always has a smile on their face and is super friendly always. The flexibility of this position is such a plus. Being a full-time student, and having a hectic class schedule, Thern accommodates for me and allows me to work whenever I want to/can. It is so extremely helpful! I love working here!

My name is Carl Quandt, and I am an engineering intern at Thern Inc. The thing I am most impressed by is the company culture at Thern, everyone is very friendly and encouraging. My coworkers are good at helping me out whenever I have questions, both those in the office and those on the production floor. I am also happy with the learning opportunities here; I have gained a lot of hands-on experience that I would not have been able to get from reading a textbook or sitting in class. An internship at Thern is a great opportunity for anyone looking to cultivate and apply their knowledge and skills in a positive and challenging environment.
