De High Roller ligt in Las Vegas en is het wereldberoemde reuzenrad van de Linq dat een wereldrecord vestigt. Met een hoogte van 550 voet is het een gigantisch bouwwerk. Tijdens de bouw werd een set TA5-16MK1 luchtlieren gebruikt om de 112 steunkabels, waarmee het wiel aan de centrale as is bevestigd, op te hijsen en te positioneren.<\/p>\n

Een paar Thern luchtlieren werden gebruikt om te helpen bij de bouw van het reuzenrad in Las Vegas. Tijdens de bouw werden luchtlieren gebruikt om de kabels (spaken van het reuzenrad) op te tillen, te positioneren en vast te houden totdat de kabels op hun plaats vastzaten – net als bij een fietswiel.<\/p>\n

Een Thern davit kraan is ook permanent bevestigd aan de middelste naaf en wordt gebruikt om apparatuur en gereedschap naar het middelste naafplatform te hijsen voor routineonderhoud.<\/p>\n

Het 550′ hoge reuzenrad ligt direct aan de strip en brengt tot 1.120 mensen per half uur hoog boven de stad in achtentwintig pods met 40 passagiers voor een spectaculair uitzicht op Las Vegas, dag en nacht. Het reuzenrad is door Guinness gevalideerd als het hoogste observatiewiel ter wereld.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
