Expro needed to outfit two offshore oil rigs with a lifting solution for deploying and retracting flare booms.

Thern supplied four flare boom pulling winches to be installed on Expro Americas’ offshore oil rigs. Two of the winches required custom drums to accommodate a very short fleet angle. All four winches were outfitted with drum guards, mufflers, filter-regulator-lubricators, spring-loaded locking pins and were ABS witness load tested to 125%.
