C&rsquo;est pourquoi une grande entreprise d&rsquo;ascenseurs industriels a choisi Thern pour construire un treuil capable de g\u00e9rer les travaux les plus difficiles. Le treuil \u00e9lectrique sp\u00e9cial 4HPF25M a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 sur le chantier de construction de la tour 1 du One World Trade Center pour soulever les mat\u00e9riaux destin\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;installation et au positionnement des ascenseurs pendant la construction de la tour. Le client avait une liste de besoins particuliers, auxquels Thern a r\u00e9pondu avec un treuil personnalis\u00e9. Parmi ses principales caract\u00e9ristiques de conception figurent une capacit\u00e9 accrue du c\u00e2ble m\u00e9tallique pour faciliter les hauteurs de levage non standard, une vitesse de ligne \u00e9lev\u00e9e et un ensemble sophistiqu\u00e9 de contr\u00f4le de vitesse variable mont\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;unit\u00e9. De plus, le treuil devait respecter certaines restrictions de taille et \u00eatre enti\u00e8rement transportable \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un transpalette. Le treuil de Thern a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour soulever les rails de guidage de l&rsquo;ascenseur jusqu&rsquo;aux \u00e9tages d\u00e9sign\u00e9s pour le stockage et un acc\u00e8s facile, auquel cas le treuil a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour man\u0153uvrer les dix-sept rails de 21 000 lb en place pour l&rsquo;installation ainsi que les c\u00e2bles de 9 000 lb. Une fois tous les rails de guidage install\u00e9s, le treuil de Therns a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour soulever et installer les cabines d&rsquo;ascenseur de 50 000 lb. Pr\u00e9vue pour \u00eatre achev\u00e9e en 2014, la tour 1 s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8vera \u00e0 une hauteur totale de 1 776 pieds avec fl\u00e8che.
