Tout d&rsquo;abord, le treuil est dot\u00e9 d&rsquo;un tambour surdimensionn\u00e9, capable d&rsquo;enrouler 6 600 pieds de c\u00e2ble en fibre optique d&rsquo;un diam\u00e8tre de \u00be de pouce. Deuxi\u00e8mement, une bague collectrice facilite l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;un c\u00e2ble en fibre optique, capable de supporter une connexion \u00e9lectrique et de donn\u00e9es en direct avec l&rsquo;a\u00e9rostat et son \u00e9quipement embarqu\u00e9. Enfin, le treuil comprend un syst\u00e8me de poulie pivotante en deux parties &#8211; une poulie directionnelle qui bascule d&rsquo;avant en arri\u00e8re pour permettre un enroulement uniforme sur le tambour, compensant ainsi l&rsquo;absence d&rsquo;une distance suffisante entre la poulie et le tambour, et une \u00ab\u00a0poulie volante\u00a0\u00bb s\u00e9par\u00e9e qui pivote, permettant \u00e0 l&rsquo;amarre de s&rsquo;enrouler sur la poulie n&rsquo;importe o\u00f9 dans un c\u00f4ne de 60 degr\u00e9s au-dessus de la t\u00eate du conducteur.
