En primer lugar, el cabrestante tiene un tambor sobredimensionado, capaz de enrollar 1.600 metros de cable de fibra \u00f3ptica de \u00be de pulgada de di\u00e1metro. En segundo lugar, un anillo deslizante facilita el uso de anclajes de fibra \u00f3ptica, capaces de soportar una conexi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica y de datos en directo con el aerostato y sus equipos de a bordo. Y, por \u00faltimo, el cabrestante incluye un sistema de polea pivotante de dos partes: una polea direccional que se balancea hacia adelante y hacia atr\u00e1s para permitir un enrollado uniforme en el tambor, compensando la falta de suficiente distancia de \u00e1ngulo de flota entre la polea y el tambor, y una \u00abpolea volante\u00bb independiente que pivota, permitiendo que el cable se alimente de la polea en cualquier lugar dentro de un cono de 60 grados por encima.
