Im Zuge des Shuttle-Programms der NASA wurden spezielle Elektrowinden des Modells 4HW50-75M oben auf den Startrampen LC-39A und LC-39B montiert. Diese Winden nutzte man, um die Zugangsplattformen der Shuttles bei Bedarf anzuheben und abzusenken.<\/p>\n

Wir lieferten die Winden, die gebraucht wurden, um den externen Tank (ET) des Orbiters auf den Startrampen LC-39A und LC-39B zu heben und zu senken. Die Winden wurden ausger\u00fcstet mit gerillten Trommeln, Endschaltern und redundantem Bremssystem.<\/p>\n

Aufgrund des hohen Salzgehalts in der Luft wurden die Winden epoxidbeschichtet.<\/p>\n

Die Plattformen werden gesperrt, sobald sie in Position sind. Die Winden wurden ausger\u00fcstet mit einem Zweigangmotor f\u00fcr schnelles Man\u00f6vrieren und langsames Positionieren.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
