Thern® Partners with Helioz zipCPQ™ to Streamline the Digital Customer Experience
Shopping online can be difficult and confusing. At Thern, we work to make our customers’ online experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. In an effort to offer our customers a better way to select and view various solutions available for their projects, we partnered with Helioz Technologies to implement the Helioz zipCPQ configure, price, quote solution on the Thern website. This new website configurator offers detailed product configuration, real-time pricing, and professional quotations for any project. This all begins with Thern’s Commander® Series of portable davit cranes.
Thern’s Commander Davit Crane Series 500, 1000, and 2000 can now be interactively configured and priced, including winch, base, and wire rope options. Once configured, a detailed 3D view is displayed for visual verification and is then available for download in 60+ CAD formats. The fully configured product can be added to a project file and downloaded as a detailed budgetary product quotation.
How does the website configurator work?
There are two different ways to use our new configurator feature. Under the crane drop-down on Thern.com, there is a tab called “product selector,” and after a customer is taken to that page, they will fill out the appropriate parameters, and a recommendation will pop up with the best crane option. From there, the website will be redirected to the appropriate product page to configure a product. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3, and boom! You have a crane recommendation right in front of your eyes.
The second way to access the configurator is to visit an individual product page directly and click “configure crane.” This will walk the customer through configuring a crane, base, winch, and wire rope options. Either option makes shopping online a breeze.
How does the website configurator benefit end-users?
Thern’s new website configurator provides interactive responses and allows customers to identify, configure, and price products seamlessly and quickly. For any project that requires custom solutions that are not readily available, customers are directed to our experienced Technical Sales and Engineering teams for support in designing a product fit for a specific application.
