Michelle is a recent addition to the Thern family and we are so lucky to have her! She joined our team as a HR Generalist! In February, 2020 and has spent every day helping our company to reach new heights. Michelle chose Thern because of the reputation that we have for treating employees well. She was looking for a career that would allow her to make decisions, and present ideas to help improve processes. After reading about Thern, she could tell they would offer what she was looking for. Since working at Thern, one thing that has really stood out to Michelle is that leadership truly wants their employees to excel in their positions and evolve within the company.
One thing Michelle has learned about Thern is that leadership is always encouraging people to have fun at work. Michelle is excited about her future and the company’s future as Thern is always striving to grow in all areas and has shown her they welcome growth. Michelle told us that she truly feels like she found her home in a career. She hopes to get the chance to work here until retirement and will recommends Thern to those seeking a change in career.
An interesting fact about Michelle is that she loves to sing. She belts out a tune in the car, at home, karaoke and etc. She was apart of the school choir from 7th-12th grade and believes it was one of the best things she could have done for herself. When she isn’t in the office, Michelle can be found on the Winona lakes, especially in the fall as she loves walking around them and taking in the views.
