Kyle Justin has worked at Thern since September of 2010, and recently had the opportunity for career advancement within the organization. Kyle began his career as a CNC Machine Operator and has now transitioned into our Engineering Department as a Mechanical Designer. The transition process was smooth, as he was able to ease his way out of one department and into another by gradually accumulating more hours in engineering and less on the manufacturing floor.
Kyle chose Thern because of the family like atmosphere and the opportunities for career advancement within the company. He believes that this is an ideal new position for him since it will allow him to broaden his knowledge while also allowing him to utilize abilities from his machining expertise. While he enjoyed his role of making parts, he is now excited to have a hand in the process of designing said parts.
When asked about his journey so far Kyle said, “As I transition into a new role here at Thern I am grateful to look back and say I have made some great friends on the shop floor. I can’t wait to make some new friends on the office side and am overall looking forward to my next steps with the company.”
Kyle may be found on the river with his family when he is not at the office. During the summer, he spends his time on his boat, soaking up the rays. As a true Wisconsinite, his family breaks out the ice fishing gear and hits the ice when winter arrives!
Congrats to Kyle on his new role as a Mechanical Designer! We are excited to see the impact you have on our Engineering Department and look forward to your future with us.
