| Worm and spur gears are hardened for durability. Worm gears operate in an oil bath enclosed in high strength die cast 380 aluminum alloy gearcase. Double lip oil seals keep oil in and contaminants out. Corrosion resistant construction and large capacity bearings ensure long life. Worm gear reducer meets AGMA standards. Gearing is 65 to 85% efficient. Low backdrive efficiency improves load control in lifting applications. |
